Join us on Wednesday 15th June for our first #80Harvests online wine tasting exploring the wines and regions of South America.

You can join us from anywhere in the world as we taste and explore five wines from South America though a live broadcast. What wines will we taste?

We know it is sometimes hard to get specific wines so we have picked a wine list that hopefully you can find anywhere in the world. These are the wines we will be tasting (the winery, brand and budget is up to you!)

Wine labels

  • Torrontes, Argentina (ideally from Salta)
  • Sauvignon Blanc, Chile (ideally from Casablanca or San Antonio)
  • Malbec, Argentina (ideally from Mendoza)
  • Carignan, Chile (ideally VIGNO from Maule, Chile)
  • Sparkling wine, Brazil (or any other South American bubbly!)

Make sure you have at least 3 glasses (one for white wine, one for red, and one for sparkling) or ideally 5 glasses (2 white, 2 red, 1 sparkling) per person. Have your white wines and sparkling wine chilled – you can keep your sparkling in the fridge until we pull ours out!

If you struggle to find any of the wines above then write to us [email protected] and we can recommend an alternative available in your area. Feel free to ask any questions about alternatives during the broadcast, we want you to take part and interact with us while we are tasting!

How do I join in?

This is a free wine tasting and we will be streaming live from YouTube and Periscope simultaneously so you can join on either of the channels – all you need a good internet connection and a screen to watch the video. You can use your smartphone, tablet or computer!

If this is your first time watching a live stream, see the instructions below.*

The tasting will be recorded and published afterward on our website (www.80havests.com) for those who cannot join or wish to watch the replay.

The broadcast will start at 7pm EST and we will be publishing the link on our social media platforms by 6pm EST so you can join the connection ahead of time (@80harvests on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) and the broadcast will start at 7pm EST.
